Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Rick Crooks will officiate. Immediately following the funeral services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Randy Tomfeld was born on November 9, 1956, in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Robert DeWayne and Patricia Ann (McGrew) Tomfeld. He was a 1975 graduate of L & M High School. On June 7, 1975, Randy was united in marriage to Christene Lewis in Muscatine. He worked for Musco Lighting and enjoyed anything in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, spending time in the "The Shack" and play harmonica and singing in the band, "Spoonbills" Randy will be deeply missed by his wife, Chris of Letts; children, Zachary Tomfeld of Letts and Tiffany Stephens and her husband, Jason of Letts; two grandchildren, Andrew and Riley Stephens; mother, Patricia Tomfeld of Letts and two sisters, Robin Dieckman and her husband, Jerry of Cranston and Sherry Anderson and her husband, Brent of Wapello. Randy was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and his best friend, Eddie.
