Description	:	Patricia A. "Pat" Wetmore, 77, of Herington, died Friday, March 16th, 2012, at the Marshalltown Medical Center, Marshalltown, Iowa. (A day before her 78th birthday). She was born on March 17th, 1934, (St. Patrick's Day) at Herington, the daughter of George M & Gladys E (Everett) Darner. A Christian Mass will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, March 21st, 2012, at the St. John's Catholic Church, Herington, with Rev. (A day before her 78th birthday). She was born on March 17th, 1934, (St. Patrick's Day) at Herington, the daughter of George M & Gladys E (Everett) Darner. Friends may call Tuesday, from 2pm until 6pm at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel. Mrs. Wetmore was a Teller for the Bank of Herington until she retired in 1999. She also worked as Secretary for the Herington Schools (High School & Middle School) prior to working at the bank. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church, and a member of the Anne's Circle. A member of the Hospital Auxiliary, and the Herington County Club. She graduated from Herington High School with the class of 1952, and then received her Associate Degree from Brown Mackey at Salina. She began working for Mason Investment in Salina, prior to returning to Herington. Married William Alan Wetmore "Al" at the St. John's Catholic Church, on February 28, 1954; he preceded in death on February 6, 2005. She is also preceded in death by her father George Darner 1963, and her mother Gladys Darner 1986. She is survived by her son Randy Wetmore and daughter-in-law Andrea "Andy" Wetmore of Marshalltown, Iowa; and her grandson Stewart Wetmore (wife-Lori) of Indianapolis, IN, and granddaughter Stacy Wetmore of Norman, OK.
