Description	:	Patricia (Pat) Ann Scott, 68, formerly of Chanute, passed away May 30, 2018 at Kansas City Hospice House, where she was set free from Alzheimer's. Pat was born September 16, 1949 in Chanute to Willadean and Namrehs Scott. The family later relocated to Tulsa, Okla., where she graduated from McClain High School in 1968. She was a medical assistant at Tulsa Dermatology Clinic for eighteen years before returning to Chanute in 1990 where she worked at National Garment Company and later at Tri-Valley Developmental Services. Pat was born September 16, 1949 in Chanute to Willadean and Namrehs Scott. The family later relocated to Tulsa, Okla., where she graduated from McClain High School in 1968. She married Ronnie McClanahan in 1973 and they later divorced. She then married Terry Stranghorner in 1995 and they later divorced. Pat was a very dedicated member of the Chanute AA Chapter and First United Methodist Church. Pat always enjoyed making friends, trying new recipes, and crocheting for her family. She is survived by her sisters Lesa Walters of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Linda (Julie) Barnes of Chanute; nieces Ashlyn (Jason) Elliott of Belton, Mo.,, Jadyn Page of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Vicki Rembijas of St. Petersburg, Fla.; great-nephew Layton Elliott and great-neice Journey Bwana, aunt Shirley (Ben) Mccoy Vega of Chandler, Ariz.,, and many cousins. Those who preceded her in death are brother Jimmy Lee Scott, her mother, father, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
