Patricia, the daughter of Edmund and Mary Kathman was born in Nelson, NE. on May 28, 1952 and passed away on December 3, 1989 in Mukiteo, Washington. A 1970 graduate of Lawrence High School, Patricia received a Nuckolls County Home Extension Scholarship and was a Regents Scholarship Award alternate for 1970-71. She was awarded the Rho-Chi Recognition Certificate for high scholastic achievement for 1975-76. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy on May 21, 1978 from the University of Nebraska College of Pharmacy in Omaha. Patricia continued her education at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, Tenn. and was an evening supervisor in the Department of Pharmacy Services. After leaving school, Patricia worked at the Quality Control Chemical Lab in Omaha, and also at a Pay & Save Drugstore in the Seattle area. Patricia's co-workers said that she was a good worker, friendly, loved people, and was loved by all. She was always thoughtful and caring to everyone, putting other people before herself. Surviving are her parents, Edmund and Mary, three sisters, Mrs. Don (Mary Ann) Mazour of Lawrence, Mrs. James (Betty) McKee, and Mrs. Dave (Rita) Neilson both of Hastings, one brother, Bernard Kathman of Lawrence, her Grandmother, Sophia Svoboda of Nelson and eight nieces and nephews.
