Description	:	Patricia Jo Stevenson Patricia Josephine Stevenson of Haysville, died on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Via Christi – St. Francis Hospital, in Wichita, at the age of 81. She was born on December 22, 1932, in Pheifer, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Dome. She was raised in Pheifer and Wichita, graduating from Sacred Heart High School of Wichita. Read More	Patricia Jo Stevenson Patricia Josephine Stevenson of Haysville, died on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Via Christi – St. Francis Hospital, in Wichita, at the age of 81. She was born on December 22, 1932, in Pheifer, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Dome. She was raised in Pheifer and Wichita, graduating from Sacred Heart High School of Wichita. After her schooling, she worked at her parents restaurant and boarding house. On January 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to John Wesley Stevenson. They made their home in Wichita until John’s retirement in 1988. They then moved to Fall River, living on the family farm. John preceded her in death on January 11, 2001. Patricia continued to live on the farm until her health forced her to move first to Eureka then Haysville to be closer to family. Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eureka. She is survived by four children, Mark Stevenson of Augusta; David Stevenson of El Dorado; Theresa Davis of Charleston, South Carolina; and Colette Maybrier of Haysville; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and six sisters. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 15, 2014 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, in Mulvane with Father Mike Maybrier officiating. Cremation has been effected. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Saint Cecilia Catholic Church of Haysville. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
