MULLINS - Mrs. Patricia Carter “Pat” Daniel, 88, widow of Julius Evander “Juke” Daniel passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her home in Fort Mill after an extended illness. Mrs. Daniel was born August 16, 1931 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Atticus Hagood Carter and the late Lula Gore Carter. She had retired from Anvil Knitwear, after 35 years of service. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Center United Methodist Church. Surviving Mrs. Daniel are a son, Julius “Van” (Paulette) Daniel, Jr. of Red Oak, IA; a daughter, Patricia “Patty” Richardson of Fort Mill; her Grandchildren: Evan Scott Daniel, Joseph Evander Daniel, Christopher Richardson, Aaron Richardson and Amanda (Jim) White; 2 Great Grandchildren: Carter White and Abigail White; a Brother: Richard Carter of Sumter; 2 Sisters: Christine Jackson of Sumter and Bonnie Lou Holt of Loris; and a Special Friend: Millie Lewis. Mrs. Daniel was predeceased by a son, Michael Stuart Daniel; a brother, James Carter and two sisters, Florence Price and Grace Lee Church. Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon, September 26, at 2:30 p.m. in Cedardale Cemetery, with Rev. Robbie Baxley officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
