Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": Patricia (Pat) Pipinich, 87, Coeur d'Alene, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, died June 17, 2005, at Kootenai Medical Center. Pat was born in Great Falls, Mont ., on Dec. 18, 1917, to J. O. and Amy Patterson. Growing up, she spent her time between the family's Lost Lake Ranch near Fort Benton, Mont ., and their home in Great Falls. Pat graduated from Great Falls High School in 1935 and went on to business school. On June 15, 1939, she married Emil Pipinich. They built their home in Great Falls and raised four children. Pat worked at Northern School Supply, Norby & Watson Insurance, and retired from Rocky Mountain General Agency. Pat and Emil celebrated more than 40 years of marriage. Emil preceded her in death in 1980. Pat continued to reside in Montana for 85 years, until, typical of her spirit, she got a "bee in her bonnet" and decided to move to Coeur d'Alene in October 2002, to be closer to two of her daughters. Pat knew how life should be lived. She kept busy with many activities, but she was best at being a "Mom" to her children and extended family, whom she welcomed into her home, and instilled in them the values she believed in and held strong throughout her 87 years. Her family has many fond memories to cherish. Pat also loved animals. She rode horses on the ranch growing up, and then, after her family was grown, she raised and showed Appaloosas for several years, winning numerous ribbons and trophies. Cats and dogs were always part of her "family." Her most recent very special pets were her dog Muffins and cat Mitzy. Pat had many friends in Fort Benton, Great Falls, and, most recently, at Coeur d'Alene Manor Apartments. She appreciated the genuine care and concern of the special people at LaCrosse Health and Rehabilitation, where she spent the last few weeks of her life due to a recent stroke. She is survived by her children and those special to them, Josephine and Art Tadej, Great Falls and Mesquite, Nev., Patsy and Don Jaspers, Hayden Lake, Bob Pipinich and Nancy Monahan, Edmonds, Wash., and Kathy Henderson, Hayden Lake. She is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses, Steve and Shelly Shockley, Great Falls, Mike and Deborah Shockley, Spokane, Joe, Jake and Greg Pipinich, Edmonds, Wash., Robin Leferink, Portland, Andy Leferink, Hayden Lake, Coleen and Stroman Watford, Hayden Lake; and by great-grandchildren Noah, Meredith, Synjin, Scott, Luke, William, Taylor and Chantilly. Other survivors include her many special nieces and nephews. Family graveside service will be 1 p.m. June 23 at Manchester Cemetery.
