Patricia Ruth was the eighth child born to Charles D. & Myrtle Hays Wilson. She graduated East Palestine High School in 1945. Ruth married Cecil James Henry on October 5, 1947. They moved to Akron, Ohio and raised their three daughters: Pamela Ann Henry (Colorado), Jerri Lynn Henry (Seattle), and Jamie Christine (Parker) Henry (Los Angeles). Patricia Ruth was the eighth child born to Charles D. & Myrtle Hays Wilson. She graduated East Palestine High School in 1945. Ruth married Cecil James Henry on October 5, 1947. They moved to Akron, Ohio and raised their three daughters: Pamela Ann Henry (Colorado), Jerri Lynn Henry (Seattle), and Jamie Christine (Parker) Henry (Los Angeles). They were members of the Bath United Church of Christ. Jim Henry's career was with Goodyear Aerospace. He passed away on February 20, 1996 in Seattle, WA. She later married Ken Howard in Seattle. They enjoyed living near daughter Jerri Henry and their church life. Her last move was to Canon City, Colorado near her daughter, Pamela Henry, to be in the wonderful loving care of this retirement community. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and her seven brothers and sisters: Ernest, Lola, Alberta, Pauline, Orville, Marcella and Wilmer. She is survived by her three daughters and granddaughter (Jamie's daughter, Kayla Christine) and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth enjoyed her family, friends, children, music, dancing and reminiscing about life in Ohio. Contributions in her memory may be made to the City of East Palestine Cemetery Association (Perpetual Care Fund). There are no services. Local arrangements are being handled by the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine.
