Description	:	Patrick Lee Fraser of Omaha, Nebraska died November 7, 2015 in Carthage, Missouri after a short battle with esophageal cancer. Patrick passed away surrounded by his family. He was born in Concordia, Kansas on July 25, 1953 to parents Raymond and Patricia Fraser. He spent most of his childhood in Manhattan and Topeka, Kansas. Read More	Patrick Lee Fraser of Omaha, Nebraska died November 7, 2015 in Carthage, Missouri after a short battle with esophageal cancer. Patrick passed away surrounded by his family. He was born in Concordia, Kansas on July 25, 1953 to parents Raymond and Patricia Fraser. He spent most of his childhood in Manhattan and Topeka, Kansas. Patrick was the youngest of 3 boys just a year apart. They spent many hours with their father, a high school coach, playing on football fields, basketball courts and baseball diamonds. Patrick loved playing football and baseball in high school, but his true love, in his adult life, was golf. He played every day that the weather permitted. The family moved to Urbandale, Iowa where he graduated from Urbandale High School in 1973. Patrick moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1977 where he worked for Regan Buick and H&H Chevrolet. In 1986 he founded 4 Seasons Chimney Sweep and had a successful business until his health failed this past April. Along with playing golf year round, he loved playing the guitar, following Kansas State football/basketball, Nebraska football and the Kansas City Royals. Patrick was able, along with his Mother, to spend his final weeks/days watching the Royals play. He was happy that he was able to see the Kansas City Royals win the World Series. Patrick was a fun person who loved older people, children and dogs. He never met a stranger, talked to everybody he met and will be missed very much and never forgotten. Patrick is survived by his wife Kelly Brown Fraser, son from a previous marriage, Joshua (Katie) Fraser and Grandson Connor Joshua Fraser, Mother Patricia Fraser, Carthage, Missouri, sisters Carol (John) Cooper and Janie Rickord, and (Brian Williams), brothers Mike Fraser and David (Kim) Fraser, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, especially his “golfing buddies”. He was preceded in death by his father and younger sister Mary Jo Fraser. He was exceptionally close to his family and loved family gatherings. When he became ill he moved to Carthage to be near his family knowing they would take care of him, which they graciously and lovingly did until his final breath. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. Family will receive friends after the Rosary until 8:00 p.m., all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with Rev. Jose Kumblumkal officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. Memorial Contributions may be given to Oxford Hospice c/o Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. (Salina Post)
