'''''''''''''''' Seward Independent (Seward, Nebr.), September 24, 1941, p. 2, col. 5 OBITUARY Patrick Mullally died at the home of his son Thomas, near Tamora, Nebr., where he was tenderly taken care of for two years. He was born in County West Meath, Ireland, on April 18, 1857, and died Sept. 10, 1941. He came to the United States in the year 1886 and settled in Seward county, which he remained his home until his death. He was married to Helen Elizabeth Grant Feb. 14, 1888, at the Catholic Saint Patrick church of Gretna, Nebr. Two children were born to this union, Mary, who died in infancy, and Thomas. Mrs. Mullally passed away May 28, 1941. Surviving besides his son Thomas are a brother Micheal Mullally of Waterloo, Nebr., a sister and brother in Ireland; three grandchildren, Rita and Grant Edward of Seward and Patrick, who is attending Naval Training School at Chicago, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the St. Patrick Catholic church of Utica, Sept. 12, at 9:30, with burial in the Catholic cemetery of Ulysses. ____ col. 6 Card of Thanks We wish to thank our friends for their thoughtful kindness at a time when it was greatly appreciated during our recent sorrow.
