'''''''''''''''''' Seward Independent (Seward, Nebr.), June 4, 1941, p. 3, col. 1 Death of Mrs. Pat Mullally Near Tamora Last Week TAMORA – Mrs. Eliza Grant Mullally, who was born in Ireland, passed away at the home of her son Thomas Wednesday afternoon, May 28. She was 90 years of age and 50 years ago became the wife of Patrick Mullally at Papillion, Nebr., and since that time has lived either on a farm west of Tamora or at their home in Utica. Due to their advanced age, two years ago they gave up housekeeping and came back to the farm where she was tenderly cared for by her son and Mrs. Mullally until the end came. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Mullally, a son, Thomas and three grandchildren, Patrick, Grant and Rita Mullally. She was the last member of the Grant family, a family of 3 girls and 6 boys. Mrs. Mullally was also the mother of a daughter who passed away many years ago. Funeral services were held Friday morning, May 30 from the Catholic church in Utica with interment at Ulysses. Relatives and friends from a distance who were here to attend funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Mullally Friday morning were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mullally, Rose, Ed and Francis of Valley, Misses Helen and Julia Mullally, Mrs. Eunice Gleason, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Dingman, Mrs. Frank Whalen and Miss Rita Mullally of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beanseigneur and Billy and Mrs. Pat McGowan and Betty of York and Mr. and Mrs. Ossentowsky of Ord.
