Description	:	Patsy Sue Bathke, age 80, of Norfolk, Nebraska, passed away to meet our Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Premier Estates in West Point, Nebraska. She was born on March 30, 1936, the daughter of Elvin E. “Boots” and Ruth E. (Ferris) Negley, in Norfolk, Nebraska. Patsy Sue attended Lincoln Grade School, Norfolk High School, and New London Connecticut College of Business. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was born on March 30, 1936, the daughter of Elvin E. “Boots” and Ruth E. (Ferris) Negley, in Norfolk, Nebraska. Patsy Sue attended Lincoln Grade School, Norfolk High School, and New London Connecticut College of Business. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. On December 10, 1960, she was united in marriage to Earl L. “Bud” Bathke. Patsy Sue started working at Nash Finch in Norfolk in 1960. She later worked at Broudy-Kantor Wine Distribution in Virginia from 1970 until 1975. Patsy was a secretary for Fleet Reserve. She volunteered for Handicapped Adults and Children and Neighborhood Watch in Modesto, California. She served on the PTA and Board of Directors for the Princess Anne High School Band Parents Association in Virginia Beach. Patsy Sue was also a Girl Scout Leader. Patsy Sue was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk and she enjoyed singing in the choir there and also St. Andrew's in Lincoln and the Norfolk Senior Choir. Patsy is survived by: her son, Matthew (Betty) Bathke; daughters, Susan (Phil) Queen and Leslie Little; six grandchildren, Gregory, Steven, David, Jessica, Joshua and Timothy; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Samantha, and Lynna; and sister, Mary (Alvin) Glover. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sister, Jeannie; and an infant daughter. Funeral services on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Obituary information from Brockhaus Funeral Home of Tilden, Nebraska.
