Description	:	Obituary - 22 March 1976 - Norfolk Daily News Services for Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Papstein, 64, 101 Miller Ave., Norfolk will be held Thursday at 2 pm at the Howser Mortuary. The Rev. R.L. Jobman, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 4 to 9 pm at the Howser Mortuary. Mrs. Papstein died Monday evening at a Norfolk hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1911, at Hadar to Mr. and Mrs. William Ferris and was a lifetime resident of this area.... She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Betty Jean) Swanson of Norfolk, Mrs. Earl (Patsy Sue) Bathke, Jr., of Livermore, Calif., and Mrs. Elwyn (Mary Jane) Glover of Lincoln; six grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Willard and Lloyd Ferris and Mrs. Lyle (Esther) Nelson, all of Norfolk, and Lester Ferris of Omaha. Mrs. Papstein was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild and her first husband, Elvin Negley.
