Read More	Paul Jennings, 86 Paul A. "Pete" Jennings, 86, a resident of Bethany Lutheran Home, died April 8 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. He was a lifetime resident of Massena until 1998 when he relocated to Council Bluffs. He was born in Massena and graduated from Massena High School. He served in the military in World War II and was the owner of a dry cleaning business. Mr. Jennings served as a ranger for the Boy Scouts for nine years and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Massena. He was a member of the American Legion in Massena, where he was awarded a 50-year pin. Mr. Jennings and his wife, Bonnie were married 60 years. Surviving are his wife; a son, Dean and his wife, Kathy, of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Alice O'Connor of Denver, Colo., and Kathleen Gruss of Greenfield, a brother Raymond of Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Massena, with the Rev. Dean Nimerichter officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Massena, with military rites by the Massena American Legion Post. The Been-Belford Funeral Home of Council Bluffs was in charge of arrangements.
