Paul was born on September 30, 1926, in Buchanan, Iowa, a son of Admiral Dewey Osborn and Myrtle Grace (Turner) Osborn. He attended school in Tipton and graduated in 1944 from Springdale Schools. He married Doris Ellen Coleman, August 15, 1952, in Kirksville, Mo. Paul worked as a cement foreman for Quad City Construction Company. He was a lifetime member of Tipton VFW Post 2537 and the American Legion post 123. He served in the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Doris Osborn, Tipton, Iowa; daugher, Sherry Snyder, Tipton, Iowa; granddaugher, Samantha Smith, Tipton, Iowa; Paul (Julie) Kenney of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; great grandchildren, Jake, Kaitlyn, Brendan; sisters, Honey Lou Smith, Tipton, Iowa, Patricia McQuillen, Moscow, Iowa; brothers, Hugh Osborn, Athens, Ala., Bert Osborn, Quad Cities, Frank (Crystal) Osborn, Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Randi Smith; three brothers, Dewey Jr., Roland and Gerald Osborn.
