Description	:	Paul E. Lawson, 81, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 13, 1936 in Horry County, a son of the late Harlie Lee and Blondell Richardson Lawson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Edwards Lawson and a sister, Ladosta Rabon. Paul was a loving father, PaPa, Big PaPa, brother and friend to all. Lawson, 81, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 13, 1936 in Horry County, a son of the late Harlie Lee and Blondell Richardson Lawson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Edwards Lawson and a sister, Ladosta Rabon. Paul was a loving father, PaPa, Big PaPa, brother and friend to all. He retired from AVX after thirty-seven years. Paul was a member of Evergreen FWB Church, Conway Masonic Lodge #65 and the Darling Lake Hunting Club, where he enjoyed visiting his friends. He loved fishing, working in his garden, but most of all Paul was well known for his famous chicken bog. Mr. Lawson is survived by one son Kenny Lawson of Conway; two daughters, Paula Lawson of Conway and Amy Dorman (Linwood) of Conway; three grandchildren, Hunter Dorman (Taylor), Grayden Martin and Lacey Dorman; one great grandchild, Keigan Paul Dorman; eight siblings, Grippie Lawson (Carolyn), Bobby Lawson (Dorothy), Gene Lawson, Hazel Edwards, Elizabeth Johnson (Larry), Mildred Fowler, Susie Harrelson (Edward) and Wanda Cox (Dennis); a special family friend, Scott Johnson and his extended family at Hardee Auto Sales. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral Services will be held 3:30pm Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Evans, Rev. Chris Johnson and Rev. David Stevens officiating.
