Description	:	Virginia Lawson, 74, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her bedside. She was born August 16, 1940 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rev. Brookie and Bessie Roberts Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Lawson, one sister, Emmaline Mincey; three brothers, Henry Edwards Sr., J. D. Edwards and MacArthur Edwards. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She loved her Lord and going to church. Read More	Virginia Lawson, 74, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her bedside. She was born August 16, 1940 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rev. Brookie and Bessie Roberts Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Lawson, one sister, Emmaline Mincey; three brothers, Henry Edwards Sr., J. D. Edwards and MacArthur Edwards. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She loved her Lord and going to church. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and working in her flowers. Mrs. Lawson is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Paul Lawson of the home; one son Kenny Lawson of Conway; two daughters, Paula Lawson of Conway and Amy Dorman (Linwood) of Conway; three grandchildren, Hunter Dorman (Taylor), Grayden Martin and Lacey Dorman; one great grandchild, Keigan Dorman; two brothers, Frankie Edwards (Shirley) and Brookie Edwards Jr. both of Conway; four sisters, Elnita Floyd, Leona Alford (Legrande), Betty Jo Ludlam and Mary Jane Sellers all of Conway and a special friend, Scott Johnson. The family would like to give a special thank you to Carey McCracken and Felecia Johnson with Beacon Hospice and a special caregiver, Hazel Edwards. Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Evans and Rev. Buddy Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm. Please sign a guestbook at watsonfuneralservices.com.
