Description	:	The Altoona Herald, Altoona, IA September 27, 1945 Paul J. Renaud was born near Pella, Iowa February 9, 1874, and passed away Sunday September 16, 1945, after a short illness. He was the son of Frederick and Louise Renaud. In 1890 the family moved near Altoona, where Paul has resided ever since. February 9, 1897, he was married to Hattie Demmer, who passed away in 1932. then in 1935 he was united in marriage to Anna Disbrow, who remains to mourn the loss of a devoted and loving husband. Renaud was born near Pella, Iowa February 9, 1874, and passed away Sunday September 16, 1945, after a short illness. He was the son of Frederick and Louise Renaud. In 1890 the family moved near Altoona, where Paul has resided ever since. February 9, 1897, he was married to Hattie Demmer, who passed away in 1932. then in 1935 he was united in marriage to Anna Disbrow, who remains to mourn the loss of a devoted and loving husband. One brother harry of Altoona, and two sisters Mrs. G. T. States and Lydia Renaud of Des Moines remain. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Early in life Paul learned to trust the Lord, and united with the Church of Christ in Altoona, where he was a faith ful member, serving in several official capacities on the church board. His loss will be keenly felt by those who knew him and loved him. His neighbors found him a helper, and al- ways a friend in time of trial. Funeral services were held last Wed- nesday afternoon at 3:00 in the Altoona Church of Christ, conducted by Rev. Chas. C. Miller of Osceola, a former pastor, and Rev. Floyd B. McCarthy, pastor of the church. Pallbearers were Elwood Walker, Henry Williamson, Donovan Blood, Glenn Arrowood, Arkle Martin and Gilbert Smith. Mrs. Arthur Mauch was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. D. C. Callison. Interment was made in the Altoona cemetery. CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank the friends, neigh- bors and relatives for their help, sympathy shown and floral offerings during the illness and passing of husband and brother -- Mrs. P. J. Renaud, Harry Renaud, Lydia Renaud, Grace States.
