Mr. Thibodeau was but fifty-one years of age and was a native of French Canada. He came to the west and located in Blairmore seventeen years ago...For the past thirteen years he has occupied the position of janitor for the public school and his place in that capacity seemed indispensible [sic]...He leaves a wife, eight children, two brothers and two sisters, living in the west. The brothers are William and Edouard, of Missoula, Montana; the sisters, Mrs. Hettie Beaulieu and Mrs. Annie Martin, of Bonner, Montana, all of whom were present for the funeral which took place on Wednesday forenoon from the family residence on Eighth Avenue to St. Anne's Catholic church, where a solemn Requiem Mass was conducted by Rev. Father Cosman...as celebrant, Rev. Father Pilon, of Pincher Creek, as deacon; and Rev. Father McCormick, of Coleman, as sub-deacon...The remains were followed to the cemetery by a long concourse, which included the principal, teachers and pupils of the public school....
