| Description | : | There is an interesting story about the tombstone. It was originally facing east, toward the fence. Vandals had knocked the marker over and when the cemetery sextons reset the marker they faced it in the wrong direction. They had no way of knowing which way the stone was originally set. I have been visiting these graves for 30 years and know it was facing the other way. This means the stone is now marking the wrong graves. Alexander's name is on the left side of the stone, but the grave you see on the left in the photo is Paulina's.... Read More |
