She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Auglaize Township to Dalton Ray and Ethel Gladys Early Jacobs, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 3, 1930, she married Charles W. Little, who died in 1988. Read More	Pauline Jacobs Little, 96, of West Liberty, formerly of Elida, died Dec. 12, 2010, at Green Hills Inn, West Liberty. She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Auglaize Township to Dalton Ray and Ethel Gladys Early Jacobs, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 3, 1930, she married Charles W. Little, who died in 1988. Mrs. Little was a school and community librarian, working at the Elida Branch of the Allen County Library. She was a volunteer who was dedicate to her community. She had been a 4-H adviser in Allen County. She and her husband had also lived in Arizona and Canada, moving to Marysville in 1983 to be near her daughter's family. She was a member of Marysville First United Methodist Church. She had served on the board of the Union County Community Concert Association and had served as treasurer of Windsor and Community Seniors. She was a volunteer for Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was a member of Twig 2 and worked for the community meals program in the gift shop. From 1988 to 2006, she volunteered 3,756 hours of service to the hospital. She moved to Green Hills Inn, West Liberty, in 2005, where she served on the residents council. Survivors include two sons, LaDoyt (LaVern) Little, of Henderson, Nev., and LaRee (Joan) Little, of Elida; a daughter, Linda (Roger) Harvey, of Marysville; nine grandchildren, Tim (Marcia) Little, Michael (Louise) Little, Beth (Tom) Walden, Shelly Alonzo, Scott (Jennifer) Little, Clark (Pamela) Little, the Rev. Brice (Julie) Little, Heather (Jeff) Bowman and Lora Harvey; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Wendell (Millie) Jacobs, of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles David Little; an infant grandson, Jay Christen "Chris" Harvey; and a brother, Lowell Jacobs. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. today at Underwood Funeral Home, Marysville. The Rev. Brice Little, her grandson will officiate. Burial will be Saturday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services today at the funeral home and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. Memorial contributions may be made to Green Hills Inn Activity Fund, 6559 U.S. 68S, West Liberty, OH 43357.
