Mrs. Stevens' maiden name was Pauline Freeman, was born on a farm near Urbana 23 years ago, on March 18. The greater partof her life was spent in North Manchester, she attending and graduating from the schools of this city, and serving in the schools for two years as instructor in domestic science and art. She was married to Floyd Stevens, June 25, 1917, and since that time has lived at their country home, near Sidney. Besides her husband, she leaves her father, Frank P. Freeman, one sister, Miss Eva Freeman, and two brothers, Raymond and Harold Freeman, both in service of the United States. Her father has been sick with the same disease and could not accompany the body home.
