Mrs. Rous was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Ellsworth County to Matthaus and Margaretha Heiken Kahler. She lived most of her life in the Claflin-Holyrood area, where she was a registered nurse and a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She married Martin A. Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, was in charge of arrangements.
