Description	:	Pearl Cole Walton, 86, Burlingame, died Monday, Feb 18, 2002, at a Topeka hospital. She was born Aug 7, 1915, in Fostoria, the daughter of Edgar and Ethel Maude Tindell Craven. She was raised in Burlingame and graduated from Burlingame High School in 1933, where she was a member of the girls championship basketball team. She was a chicken sexer for hatcheries in Burlingame, Burlington, Garnett and Ottawa during World War II. Mrs Walton attended Burlingame Federated Church. She married Howard R "Hob" Cole in 1933. He died May 20, 1969. She married Charles A Walton on March 20, 1981, in Council Grove. He died Jan 29, 2001. Mrs Walton was also preceded in death by an infant son, Dale Cole, and a stepson, John Walton in 1998. Survivors include a son, Howard D Cole, Middleton, Wis,; a stepson, Don Walton, Topeka; a foster son Dr Ali Arbab, Shawnee MIssion; three grand children; five stepgrandchildren; and four great-great-granddaughters. Services were Feb 21 at the Burlingame Federated Church. Burial was in Burlingame Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Burlingame Federated Church, Burlingame, 66413.
