Read More	AMESVILLE — Peggy J. Sayre, 82, of Amesville, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at her home. Born March 13, 1931, in Amesville, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie V. McKinley Budworth and the stepdaughter of the late Herman L. Budworth. She was a graduate of Ames-Bern High School, class of 1949. After graduation, she became a bookkeeper at F.W. Woolworth Co. Store 1601 in Athens for 45 years, and never missed a day in 12 years of school and 45 years of work. She married her husband of 58 years, Orland L. Sayre, in January 1951, and he preceded her in death. She loved giving and helping people, always saying the more you give, the more you receive, and she really did feel blessed. If you knew Peg at all, you will always remember the big smile on her face and the way she would tell you what she really thought and what was on her mind. She loved telling jokes and stories and making people laugh. Her life was rich with friends and family. It was filled with the joy of sharing, teaching hard work and laughter.
