Mathilda, Carl, Phar, Axel, Tekla, and Claus immigrated to America. Phar used the name Per in America and married Mary or Marie Abrahamson on 28 Nov 1885 at her parents home in rural Phelps Co, NE. To this union five children were born: Bernard William Peterson (b 11 Oct 1886 - d 18 Jan 1928), Anna E Peterson Seeman (b 23 Mar 1898 - d 7 Oct 1938), Ellen Theresa Peterson Hoglund (b 5 Jan 1890 - d 18 Nov 1971), Paul John Peterson(b 25 Jun 1893 - d 29 Dec 1984), and Ada Elizabeth Peterson Sisler (b 24 Sep 1895 - d 25 Apr 1982). Per and Mary's family moved to St. Francis, KS area around 1889 to 1898 and then they travel by covered wagon to Minnesota but were residing 5 miles south of Loomis in 1900. He died near Atlanta, NE on 24 Sep 1936.
