Mrs. Schubert was laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery in Britt. Bohn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She had reached the age of 49 years, two months, and two days, at the time of her death. Mrs. Schubert died Thursday, Nov. 4, at a Mason City hospital. Perle Faithe (Boutilier) Schubert was born September 1, 1922, at Britt, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Helen Charbonneaux Boutilier. She was a graduate of Britt High School and the Britt Junior College. She was married to Gordon Schubert on October 23, 1941. They farmed near Britt; in 1946 they moved to a farm southeast of Garner, where they have farmed and resided since. Mrs. Schubert received a degree in elementary education from Drake University, Des Moines, in 1960. She taught three years at Meservy, and thirteen years at Ventura. She was active in church work, 4-H leader and worker, and past president of the Hancock Historical Society. Surviving are her husband, Gordon, two sons: James of Billings, Montana, and Ronald of South Bend, Indiana; two daughters; Mrs. John (Virginia) Overgaard, Ventura, and Mrs. David (Rebecca) Turnell, Williamsburg, Ia.; five grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. (Boutilier) Asche, and her stepfather, Ben Asche, Garner; two stepbrothers, Walter Asche, Mason City, and Arthur Asche, Willmar, Minn., one stepsister Mrs. William (Helen Mae) Gouge Orlando, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Georg Boutilier and one stepsister. Mrs. Schubert will be sorely missed by her immediate families and a host of friends.
