Mo., Mrs. Faulitia McWilliams, aged 72 years. Sister McWilliams' maiden name was Brown. She was born in Shelby county, Kentucky, in the year 1806. Was married to Mr. John McWilliams in the year '27, and the same year removed to Marion county, Mo., where they lived ten years, and then removed to Shelby county, and settled on the place where she lived to the time of her death. Here the family were raised, the husband died, and last, the mother reposes in the family burying grounds, beside the loved ones gone before. She has been a resident of N. E. Missouri 51 years, of Shelby county, 41 years. It may be safely said that none retain in a more remarkable degree, the esteem and confidence of her neighbors. Sister McWilliams was baptized in the year '44 by Elder Livy Hatchctt and lived an exemplary member of the Christian church until death. It may be truly said that we have lost a "mother in Israel." The loss to her relatives, the church, and society is deeply felt. Her last illness, of three weeks continuance, was borne with calmness and resignation. May God bless the bereaved. — E. C. BROWNING.
