Description	:	Newport Hoosier State Wednesday, October 11, 1882 Peter Cossey, an old and respected farmer of Highland Township, who had been suffering from a partial alienation of mind for several months, died at his home on Wednesday last, aged 70 years. The deceased was honest and industrious, and one among the wealthiest farmers in the county. He was born in Maryland in 1812, and settled in this county in 1832, where he had resided ever since.
