| Description | : | Peter married Elizabeth Claus on 3 Sept 1855. They spent 7 years in St Louis, Missouri then in 1862 they moved to Cox Creek, Clayton, Iowa. They had 11 children, sadly 2 sons, Herman and Peter died at young ages. On 3 Sept 1905 the two celebrated their 50th Anniversary. When Elizabeth died on 12 Aug 1912, Peter truly wanted to join his beloved wife. He went to her 25 days later. They are together for eternity. He is survived by his remaining 9 children and 40+ grandchildren. |
