Mr. Luhn was 82 years, 4 months and 4 days of age. Peter Luhn was born in Oconto, Oconto County, Wisconsin, February 28, 1865. He was baptized in the Lutheran church at Oconto and confirmed by the Rev. Carl Meyer. In 1878 he, together with his parents, one brother and five sisters came to Nebraska and settled in Webster County, Nebraska, and resided here continuously until October 1924, at which time he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to make his home. He was married to Wilhelmina Sophia Frahm on December 27, 1889. To them were born the following children: Fred Luhn, McCook, Nebraska, Erich Luhn, St. Louis, Missouri, John C. Luhn, Hinsdale, Illinois, Arthur Luhn, Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Marie Brown, Alliance, Mrs. Dorathea Warren, Monte Vista, Colorado, Mrs. Anna Johnson, Lincoln, all of whom survive. Mr. Luhn is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Luhn died in May, 1942. Mr. Luhn held important offices in the Trinity Lutheran Church having been elder and trustee and chairman for many years.
