Description	:	Peter Paul Burkhart, 64, 3827 Munson died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. He had been ill many months and had undergone surgery last summer. He was born June 8, 1913 in Topeka where he spent most of his life. He was a carpenter before he retired. He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council No. 534, the Fourth Degree, and local No. 1445 of the Carpenters Union. Burghart, 1907 Wilcox Court, and Paul A. Burkhart, 541 N.E. Monhollon Drive; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Reeder, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Cecilia Stadler, 5949 Rochester Road; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Burkhart will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan Funeral Home where Daughters of Isabella rosary will be said t 6:30 p.m., Ladies of Columbus rosary at 7:15 p.m., and parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
