Description	:	Son of: J. C. & H.E. Ripperton. He was killed just after dinner, at the independence Day celebration at Canton. Peter was sitting in a buggy when a horse unexpectedly kicked over the dashboard, catching the boy on the foehead just over the eye, crushing his skull. Peter hung on to life for 15 days, but died on 19 July 1897, Aged: 3 years, 4 months, & 1 day. He was buried the next to his brothers, Grover & Garlie, who died an infant.	Son of: J. C. & H.E.
