Description	:	Funeral Services For Pfc. Thomas Set for Monday ANAMOSA - Funeral services for Pfc. Ernest R. Thomas will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Goettsch funeral home. Thomas was killed in action by shrapnel in Korea June 11. He entered military service in April of 1952 and went overseas in November. He had been in action since January. An older brother, Francis, died in Germany in April, 1945. The Rev. Walter Wigger will be in charge of the services. The VFW and the American Legion will conduct the military rites. Burial will be in the Oakwood cemetery at Monticello. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olin Thomas, and seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Bill Brown, Mrs. Menno Otten and Everett of Anamosa; Leland; Roland, of Woodstock, Ill.; Owen, of Marion, and Mrs. James Stahr, of Martelle.
