Abbott, age 53 years, 4 months, 23 days. Mrs. Abbott was first taken sick October 8, 1868, and never fully recovered from her disability. Since then she has attended to her household duties, for a great part of the time, but has done so under great difficulty and pain, but she never murmured or complained. She was seized violently with quick-consumption and only lived 26 days. Since the attack she has not been able to lie down for more than an hour at a time, and died sitting in her armchair. She had many loving friends who unite with the bereaved in mourning the loss.
