Read More	Philip Reginald Jodrey 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Philip Reginald Jodrey, 80, Watford, passed away peacefully with his family at his side March 4, 2006, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, after a brief stay. Born in Watford, he was a son of the late Theophilus and Edna (Whynot) Jodrey. He was a farmer and a trucker for most of his life, retiring as a foreman with the Nova Scotia Department of Highways. He was a member of the Anglican Church and enjoyed spending his time with family and camping; he also enjoyed helping his neighbours, whether it was with a little carpentry or helping paint a house. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Muriel "Kitty" (Croft); daughter, Ronna Meisner (Aubrey Conrad), Simpson's Corner; son, Errol (Ann), Victoria; sisters, Minnie Veinot, Winnipeg; Phyllis (Atwood) Meisner; grandchildren, Denette Meisner (Mason MacLeod), Newcombville; Natalie (Joe) Sawler), Pinehurst; Sean and Kelly Jodrey, Victoria; great-grandchildren, Matthew and William Sawler, Pinehurst; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Russell, Clarence, Lorraine, and Bruce. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, New Germany. There will be a private family graveside service in Barss Corner Community Cemetery, Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. Family flowers only please.
