Description	:	JOLIET - Phillip H. Frank passed away July 22, 2005, at the Beartooth Hospital in Red Lodge. Phil was born on the family farm north of Laurel on March 12, 1916, to George H. Frank and Mary Katherine (Frickel) Frank. On Feb. 6, 1941, he married Alice Brewer and they farmed east of Laurel for 16 years. Phillip is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice; sons, Gary (Annette) Frank, Joliet; Marvin (Linda) Frank, Joliet; Cliff (Sally) Frank, Billings; daughters, Iris (Don) Weisgerber, Billings; and Sandy (Steve) Olson, Billings; 10 grandchildren, Shanna (Julian) Mariscal; Brian Frank; Lana (Marc) King; Lance (Chrissy) Frank; Cody Frank; Casey (Barbara) Frank; Kevin Weisgerber; Sam (Erin) Weisgerber; Scott Olson; Staci Olson and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Dorothy (John) Ostwald and Mary (Clarence) Rupp and many loving nieces and nephews. Phil was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, Alex, Henry, Jake, Herman, Dave and Victor; and sisters, Freda Jackson and Lydia Fichtner. Phil was a family man who loved to farm. When we were able to coax him away from his fields, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards with family and friends and picnics at the cabin. Even though he was a quiet man, he so enjoyed a good laugh and loved to tease as well as being teased. The family extends a special thank you to Sherry Baldridge, whose loving care made it possible for him to live at home on the farm he loved so much until the very end. Special thanks also to all of those from Beartooth Hospice who provided so much support to him as well as his family. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at First Congregational Church in Laurel. There will be a reception at the church following the committal service at the Laurel Cemetery.
