Description	:	Miss Phoebe Jane Smith was bornin Genesse County, New York, January 8th, 1842. Early in life with her parents, she moved to Michigan in which state she was married to Frank Albro, November 3, 1864. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Albro. Of these, Nettie A. died at the age of twenty-two and Charley J. at the age of four years. Their father died April 6, 1908. Read More	Miss Phoebe Jane Smith was bornin Genesse County, New York, January 8th, 1842. Early in life with her parents, she moved to Michigan in which state she was married to Frank Albro, November 3, 1864. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Albro. Of these, Nettie A. died at the age of twenty-two and Charley J. at the age of four years. Their father died April 6, 1908. The four children Lewis D. of Maywood, Neb., Stephen B. of Fairmont, Mrs. Edith A. Hurley of Waco, Washington, and Mrs. Clara B. David of Litchfield, Nebr., survive their parents and were all present at the funeral of their mother. Mrs. Albro's father, Rev. J.D. Smith and a sister, Mrs. Wright of Lincoln, also survive. Mr. and Mrs. Albro came to Saline county Nebraska, in 1872 and settled in Fillmore county twenty-three years ago. Mrs. Albro united with the Methodist Episcopal Church twenty-four years ago. She was well known in this vicinity as a gentle, sweet spirited Christian woman, a true wife and loving mother. Her summons to enter into the life beyond came as a great surprise to all. While seated in the rocking chair on Saturday evening in the new home of her daughter, Mrs. David at Litchfield, Neb., she quietly passed to the world beyond. The body was brought to Fairmont and buried from the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Lotan DeWolf officiating. Mrs. Abro left Fairmont Thursday afternoon of last week for Litchfield and the report of death coming so suddenly and unexpected was a shock to the many old friends here.
