Description	:	Mrs. Phyllis Faber, age 73, of Wilton Manors, Florida, formerly of Hull and George, passed away December 17, 2000 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George. The Rev. Charles G. Tefft will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hull. Visitation with the family present will be on Friday, April 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull. Phyllis Irene was born August 15, 1927, at Hull, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Hicks) De Roos. She graduated from Michigan State University. In earlier years, she lived in East Lansing, Michigan. For 48 years, she was a resident of Florida. On August 14, 1992, she married Dr. Kenneth Fred Faber in Fort Lauderdale. They made their home in George and in Florida. Dr. Faber passed away September 7, 1995, in Orange City, Mrs. Faber passed away at the Holy Cross Hospital. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, where she sang in the choir. Survivors include four nephews, Keith Phillips, of Miami, Florida; David Phillips, of Gardner, Massachusetts; Kenneth Phillips, of North Windham, Connecticut; and Robert Phillips, of Ledyard, Connecticut; nine great-nephews and nieces, Chris, Tom, Jaime, Emily, Gary, Jackie, Christy, Brian, and Kaitlin; a great-great nephew; a brother-in-law, Dr. Howard C. Phillips, of Miami, four step-children, Jeffrey Faber, Jane Montemaden, Katnerine McDonald, and Tom Faber; and three step^grandchildren, Emily, Lia, and David. Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the American Diabetes Association. Siouxland Press 2001-04-11.
