Description	:	Phyllis Lorraine (Lee) Malm, 83 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Holdrege Memorial Homes. She was born on May 23, 1926 at Holdrege, one of nine children born to James and Dora (Hammond) Lee. Phyllis was baptized in the Baptist Church. She received her education at Holdrege, graduating from Holdrege High School with the class of 1944. Following her education, Phyllis was united in marriage to Charles W. "Bud" Malm on July 1, 1944. Read More	Phyllis Lorraine (Lee) Malm, 83 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Holdrege Memorial Homes. She was born on May 23, 1926 at Holdrege, one of nine children born to James and Dora (Hammond) Lee. Phyllis was baptized in the Baptist Church. She received her education at Holdrege, graduating from Holdrege High School with the class of 1944. Following her education, Phyllis was united in marriage to Charles W. "Bud" Malm on July 1, 1944. To this union five children were born: Janet, Pamela, William, Timothy and Tammara. The family made their home at Holdrege, where Phyllis devoted her life as a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and loved having her children and grandchildren at her side. Phyllis and Bud enjoyed camping, and made many friendship bonds running the Alma City Campgrounds for several years during their retirement. They enjoyed boating, fishing, playing cards, and loved dancing in their earlier years. Phyllis enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and was an avid Husker Football Fan. On May 7, 1994 she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud. Phyllis was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege, was a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and enjoyed her coffee birthday club friends for many years. Besides her parents and her husband, Bud, Phyllis was preceded in death by four brothers: Dayton, James Jr., Ed and Robert; three sisters: Dorothy Follman, Peggy Jackson and Mert Waller. She leaves to mourn her passing her five children: Janet Lyon and her husband, Wayne of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Pam Meisenbach and her husband, Chuck of Alma, Bill Malm and his wife, Jody of Alma, Tim Malm and his wife, Barb of Holdrege and Tammi Sturgis and her husband, Kent of Holdrege; ten grandchildren: Stephanie Tomasini and her husband, Ron, Scott Lyon and his wife, Julie, Stacey Meisenbach and her fiancé, J.J. Holmberg, Amy Bunting and her husband, Scott, Corey Malm, Casey Feddersen and her husband, Andy, Nichole Schultz and her husband, Ryan, Drew E. Swanson, Maggie Malm and her special friend, Jarvis Johnson and Jolee Sturgis; 13 great-grandchildren: Joshua, Emily, Nicholas, Sheridan, Jake, Brielle, Jillian Lorraine, Jet, Alleigh, Ella, Reed, Coy, and Claire; one brother, Ronnie Lee and his wife, Ann of San Jacinto, California; sister-in-law, Ruth Lee of Holdrege and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
