Long time resident of Hull died of Heart attack at Farm Home Monday Nov. 30. Mr. Peter De Jongh a long time resident of Hull suddenly passed away at the family home north of Hull, Monday evening, at about 5:20 o'clock, of a heart attack. Mr. De Jongh had just left the house to do his evening chores when the attack came and his son found him lying in the yard dead. Mr. Peter De Jongh only son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie De Jongh was born Feb 11, 1877 at Acklum Netherlands, and came to the states with is parents as a young boy. On March 10 1897 he was married to Hendrika Vreeman and to this union twelve children were born, who with their mother survive. The deceased had spent the most of this life in Sioux County The children are: Charles of Beaver Creek MN; Gerrit of Hills MN; Dick of Hull; Peter of Hills MN; Henry of Hull; Agnes Mrs. John A. Wolfswenkel of Sibley IA; Hattie Mrs. Clarence Wolfswinkel of Hull; Dena Mrs. Frank De Boer of Bellflower CA; John, with the US Navy stationed at Manitowas WI; Bertha Mrs. Arie Bomgaars of Hull; Willis of Hull and Freeman at home. There are also twenty nine grandchildren. Mr. De Jongh was 65 years 10 months and 19 day old at the time of his death. He would have been married 46 years next March. He was a kind and loving husband and father and his memory will never be forgotten.
