Lester R. Taggart, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffis was born in Clay County and lived here most of her life. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by two grandsons, W. B. Griffis III of Orange Park and George L. Griffis of Maxville; one granddaughter, Mrs. Ruth Corbitt. Pallbearers were Albert Smith, D. B. Griffis, Henry Carter, E. B. Wilkinson, Earl Cannon and Randolph Crosby. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of W. B. Griffis III Funeral Home, Orange Park. Interment was in Long Branch Cemetery.
