She was born at home in Manchester, ME on October 24, 1931, the eldest daughter of the late Carl and Laura (Pierce) Whitman Priscilla graduated from Cony High School in 1949, and then worked at National Grange Insurance Company. Upon the birth of her first daughter, Susan, she became a homemaker. She was born at home in Manchester, ME on October 24, 1931, the eldest daughter of the late Carl and Laura (Pierce) Whitman Priscilla graduated from Cony High School in 1949, and then worked at National Grange Insurance Company. Upon the birth of her first daughter, Susan, she became a homemaker. She was a Room Mother at Manchester Elementary School for her 4 children, library volunteer, PTA member and Manchester Grange member. Over the years she worked as a Secretary for the Planning Board and Maine Obsolete Auto League - Dirigo region. Mrs. Hippler was predeceased by her brothers Carl Whitman Jr. and Timothy Whitman Priscilla is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles L. Hippler Jr. of Manchester; children: Susan Banden and husband Timothy of Hernando, FL, Charles Hippler, III and his wife Stephanie of Manchester, James Hippler and his wife Renee of Manchester and Jane Dennison and her husband William of Augusta; grandchildren: Marissa Radcliffe, James & Ian Hippler, Elizabeth Dennison and Charles Hippler IV; her brothers: Norman Whitman and his wife Barbara of New York, Paul Whitman and his wife Ernestine of Standish, Carroll Whitman and his wife Peggy of Manchester and Michael Whitman and his wife Laura of Manchester; sisters: Dorothy Veilleux of Winslow, Thelma Ware and her husband Donald of Manchester, Patricia Rolfe and her husband Alan of Manchester, Harriet Blanche of Manchester and Deborah Gould and her husband Kerry of Auburn; many nieces & nephews; and aunt, Janet (Pierce) Thorne of Sidney and one sister-in-law, Mary Marshall of Industry.
