She was born on April 22, 1937, in St. Albans, the daughter of the late Philip and Eleanor Rice. She attended Hartland Academy and worked for many years in housekeeping. Priscilla was a wonderful cook. She was famous for her soft molasses cookies. She enjoyed fishing and camping. She loved putting out her dishes of nuts for her backyard squirrels and watching them eat. She looked forward to her daily trips to wander around Rocky’s store and socialize with her friends. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Southard and Cindy Webber and husband Kenny; son, Philip Butler and wife Val; sisters, Sandra McNichol and Debbie Cooper and husband Dana; brother, Rocky Rice and wife Vicki; grandchildren, Rhonda Kinney, Heather Shaw and husband Richard, Dayna and Taylor Butler and Jacob Butler; great grandchildren, Charlee Munn, Dell and Dylan Shaw, Kennedy and Austin Raven and Leola, Edwin and Clair Kinney; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Eleanor Rice; her father and stepmother, Philip and Marguerite Rice; son, Allen Butler; her companion, Carlton Tash; sisters, Pauline Rice and Joann Ballard; and brother, Ken Southard. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 152, in Hartland.
