Description	:	A Sioux Center woman who had just recently observed her 100th birthday died on Wednesday, March 25. Priscilla Ramaker, 100, died at the Sioux Center Nursing Wing. Memorial services were at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center on Monday, March 30, with the Rev. Arnold Punt officiating. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Mrs. Ramaker was born on February 1, 1898, near Sioux Center, the daughter of Everette and Henrietta (Sneller) Vermeer. Mrs. Ramaker was born on February 1, 1898, near Sioux Center, the daughter of Everette and Henrietta (Sneller) Vermeer. She attended school in rural Sioux Center and also attended Sioux Center High School. She married Albert Ramaker on August 29, 1923, in Sioux Center. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1971. Mrs. Ramaker was a member of First Reformed Church, sang in the choir, was a member of the Dorcas Circle, gave music lessons and taught Sunday school. She is survived by two daughters: Helen Kaemlngk of Sioux Center and Shirley and her husband, Harold Korver, of Paramount, California. Other survivors are nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; one Infant son; a son-in-law, Arnold Kaemingk; one infant great-grandson; five brothers; and five sisters. At Mrs. Ramaker's funeral service, Glen and Betty Vermeer sang "What a Day That Will Be" and "Beyond the Sunset." The congregational hymns were "All the Way My Saviour Leads Me" and "Blessed Assurance." One of the songs Donna Den Herder played on the organ was "Halleluja Chorus."
