He was a leather worker by trade, born Jan 2, 1904 in Boulder, Colo, the son of Adam and Laura Flickinger Cripps. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Warrick Funeral Home with the Rev Clarence Mansfield of the Christian Church officiating. Intermant will be in the Columbiana Cemetery, Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Note: Information in obituary is somewhat incorrect . The mother of Charles David Cripps was Laura Wiant or Wyant. His step father was Eli Flickinger who married Laura Wiant Cripps in 1911. Mrs Lillian Zimmer (Raymond Zimmer) appears to be a half sister as she was born in 1895 as Lillian G Bish, a daughter of Alvin Bish and Laura Wiant. Mrs George Millberg may be a Bish or Flickinger and would be a step sister along with Clarence Flickinger a step brother. There were many more Bish step siblings not mentioned, perhaps never knew them. This is under study. (Bish) Zimmer's maiden name really WAS Bish. Laura Wyant was first married to Alvin Gebhard Bish in Armstrong Co., PA. They had four children that I know of, with Lillian being one of them. Laura Wyant married William Cripps on April 18, 1904 in Armstrong Co., PA.
