Son of Lewis and Clara (Anthony) Garrison. Married 14 Mar 1866 to Elizabeth Jasseph. Civil War - enlisted on 8/8/1862 at Lockport, Michigan, as a Private. On 9/11/1862 he mustered into "D" Co, 25th Michigan Infantry. Spangle, pastor of the Madrona Heights Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Garrison was a veteran of the Civil War, serving in Co. D., 25th Michigan Volunteers Infantry. He saw 3 years service and was a member of the Curtis Post G.A.R. of Bridgewater, South Dakota. He was a contractor and builder for many years. He came west 7 years ago to reside with his son. He leaves three sons and three daughters.
