Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Wilma Scheer, Arlington; brothers, Alfred, Wallace, Oscar, Otis and Obert, all of Arlington; sisters, Mrs. Esther Grebe and Mrs. Helen Geisler, both of Fremont; Mrs. Frieda Walkenhorst, Arlington; Mrs. Arthur Walter (Lilly) Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Duane Scheer, Glen Echtenkamp, Orvin, Wayne and James Scheer and Ted Walkenhorst. George Bluma was organist. Memorials have been established for St. Paul's Lutheran Church building fund. Burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery."
