John Deemer married two women. Marsha Bushong and then her 1st cousin Elizabeth Bushong (who later married Clarkson Chandler). ******** Per article provided he was the son of Philip Deemer and Rosanna Stacher. Daniel Deemer , treas of Williams Co Ohio - Democrat. His great grandfather was John Deemer of France, a Rev war soldier under General Lafeyette with home he came to this country. He settled in Pa. Philip Deemer, his son, was born in Mercer Co Pa and located to Columbiana Count Ohio, locating about 4 miles north east of New Lsbon. His wife , Rosanna Stacher, who died near New Lisbon, was of German decent. Phillips son, John Deemer was bor Nov 12, 1827 at the old homestead near New Lisbon and at manhood engaged in business in the town of Columbiana as a brick manuraturer and broom maker. He also had a hardware business there for for many years a leading citizen there. On Jan 1, 1852, he marrmied in Williams Co Ohio to Miss Martha Bushong, who die in Columbiana March 12, 1871 He afterward married a second wife. He died May 28, 1874 and left three children - William M Deemer of Jefferson two, Williams Co, a farmer, Jacob Edward Deemer who resides in Puebl Cloroado and Daniel Deemer born June 29, 1862 in Columbiana. He later removed to Williams Co as a farmer.
