Joseph had 17 children with two wives, and lived in New York, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, and Washington. OBIT. -- Yakima Herald, Jan. 27, 1898, p. 5 "Mr. Bennett, an old resident of the Wenas valley, 82 years of age, was buried in Tahoma cemetery yesterday. He was sick only three days before his death.
